From humble beginnings to a local favorite

Welcome to Barrhead Family Restaurant

Established in 2005, Barrhead Family Restaurant began as a small dream to bring authentic Indian and Canadian cuisine to the heart of Alberta. Founded by the Sharma family, who immigrated from Punjab, India, we've blended traditional family recipes with local Canadian flavors to create a unique dining experience.

What started as a 30-seat restaurant has now grown into a beloved local establishment that can accommodate over 100 guests. Despite our growth, we've never lost sight of our core values: serving delicious food made with fresh ingredients, providing exceptional service, and creating a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.

Today, we're proud to be a cornerstone of the Barrhead community, hosting family celebrations, business meetings, and everything in between. Our team of experienced chefs and friendly staff work tirelessly to ensure every visit is memorable.
